Biography

Hazel has 17 years of experience in real estate in the UK and the UAE. She currently advises Middle East investors (including an Abu Dhabi based SWF) and master developers on their flagship investments and developments in the Middle East. Hazel works with BCLP’s other international offices advising clients on deploying capital in London, Germany and Asia. Hazel also advises international corporate occupiers on the real estate aspects of their businesses in the Middle East including in relation to their flagship retail stores and regional office headquarters. Hazel is ranked as a leading real estate expert by Chambers Global 2019. This publication singles her out for being “very knowledgeable, calm and incisive,” recognises her for being a “tough negotiator” who is “very practical and commercial” and highlights that she is 'very practical and commercial, delivers a good service and provides very good drafting in plain English.' Hazel chaired the Middle East chapter of the Private Equity Real Estate (PERE) conference in 2018 and 2017 and is regularly invited to speak at other industry events and conferences. Hazel spearheads BCLP’s gender equality initiatives in the UAE and also sits on BCLP’s Global Diversity and Inclusion Board.
