Biography

Dennis Horeman is a partner at De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek N.V. since 2012. He is a member of the dispute resolution practice and focuses on litigation and arbitration in a broad range of contract and liability matters. A significant part of his practice is representing defendants in mass claim actions, including in the fields of financial services, consumer products and climate change litigation. He represented Ageas before the Amsterdam Court of Appeals in a EUR 1.3 billion settlement declared universally binding in 2018. He is an expert on insurance law and acts for corporate insureds relating to product liability, professional liability, D&O liability and fraud. He is a member of the Disciplinary Council of the Amsterdam bar association.
