Biography

Dr. Martin IMHOF is an Equity Partner at the Dusseldorf office of the German law firm Heuking Kuhn Luer Wojtek. He regularly represents strategic and private equity investors in domestic and cross-border M&A transactions and investments, buyouts, divestitures, carve-out transactions and the formation and structuring of international Joint Ventures. He advises foreign enterprises investing in Germany and coordinates outbound work for German clients going overseas. Additionally, Martin advises in general corporate and commercial matters, including the incorporation and (re)organisation of companies and international supply. Martin is recommended in the fields of M&A by WirtschaftsWoche (Top Kanzlei 2016) and Chambers Global 2016 recognised him as one of the ‘Leaders in their Field’ in Corporate/M&A, Experts Based Abroad, India. The Legal 500 EMEA and Germany (2019) named Martin for Trade and Distribution. India Business Law Journal identified Martin as one of the top 100 international lawyers for handling India-related matters and made him a member of the exclusive A-List 2019. The Dusseldorf Bar Association awarded Martin the title of a Certified Specialist Lawyer in Commercial and Corporate Law (Fachanwalt für Handels- und Gesellschaftsrecht).
