Silke Hossenfelder

Biography

Silke Hossenfelder, economist, has started working with the Bundeskartellamt in 1992 and is today heading the General Policy Division of the German Bundeskartellamt. In 1998 she joined the Dutch Competition Authority during its two first years of activity, and later she headed subsequently two Decision Divisions within the Bundeskartellamt, dealing with a variety of challenging antitrust and merger cases.
