Biography

Prof. Dr. Andreas Nelle is lawyer and partner of Raue LLP. His legal expertise ranges from Venture Capital, Corporate and M&A to corporate and post-transaction disputes. His clients include listed companies, private equity and venture capital funds, family offices, business angels as well as numerous medium-sized and young companies. Andreas started his professional career with the Boston Consulting Group and then joined Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and later Hogan & Hartson Raue. In 2010 he co-founded the Hogan & Hartson Raue spin-off Raue LLP and served as its managing partner from 2014 until 2017. He is a frequently recommended lawyer for Private Equity and Venture Capital, M&A and Corporate Law, recognized by Chambers, Legal 500 and the JUVE Handbook 2017/2018. Andreas Nelle was named the Best Lawyers ® 2019 Venture Capital “Lawyer of the Year” in Germany. Andreas Nelle also teaches law as an Adjunct Professor at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.
