Biography

Laura Uberoi is a Banking Solicitor with Farrer & Co LLP, where she has worked for the past five years. She specialises in complex financing transactions relating to real estate, corporate acquisitions, aircraft and artwork, and has also spent nearly a year on secondment to Deutsche Bank. In 2017 Laura was elected to the Law Society of England & Wales to represent junior lawyers who are 0-5 years qualified. She is also President of the local Westminster & Holborn Law Society. Before joining Farrer & Co, Laura taught law in the UK and abroad (including at institutions such as the University of Cambridge and the University of Melbourne), served as a trustee of a national children’s charity and worked on capital punishment cases in the US for the Texas Defender Service.
