Founder and Managing Partner of D2 Legal Technology (D2LT), a legal data consultancy assisting firms to unlock business value through legal change - Thought leader operating at the intersection of fintech and legaltech, with 18 years+ experience in investment banking, as both a technologist and lawyer - Founded D2LT in November 2011 and overseen its growth to some 85 consultants across Europe and North America - Recognised in 1st for 'Data, Knowledge and Intelligence' at the 2017 FT Innovative Lawyers Awards, and a 'Standout' for 'Collaboration', and individually as one of the 'top ten innovators' in the 2016 FT Innovative Lawyers Awards - Appointed to (and currently serving on) the Law Society's Technology Reform Committee in 2016 - Author of the textbook 'Legal Data - Banking & Finance' (Wiley Press, to be released late 2018) Focus Areas: Derivatives and capital markets, data extraction, data capture (including OCR software), enterprise search, machine learning and artificial intelligence, blockchain, smartcontracts, content management, document generation, know-how and workflow systems, data privacy and protection (including GDPR)
