Biography

Raul-Angelo Papotti is a partner and the head of Tax and Tax Planning department at Chiomenti. He specialises in domestic and international tax law, with particular focus in taxation of cross-border transactions and corporate reorganisations. He assists Italian and foreign clients in the tax structuring and implementation of their operations, including the design of appropriate transfer pricing policies for multinational companies and the negotiation with the Italian tax authorities of advance rulings. He also frequently assists clients in the context of international tax litigations, as well as transfer pricing pre-litigation settlements and litigations, both in front of the Italian tax courts as well as in connection with mutual agreement and arbitration procedures.
