Biography

James M. Sullivan is a partner in the law firm of Windels Marx Lane & Mittendorf LLP based in the Firm’s New York office. He concentrates his practice in corporate restructuring and bankruptcy. He represents corporate debtors, banks, indentured trustees, secured and unsecured creditors, trustees, and distressed investors in large insolvency cases, as well as in connection with a variety of complex commercial disputes. He also represents buyers of assets in distressed and bankruptcy M&A transactions. James also has extensive litigation, trial, and mediation experience. Many of James’ matters have an international component. An evolving part of his practice involves advising clients in connection with blockchain and cryptocurrency issues.
