Marcelo Perlman

Biography

Marcelo is a founding partner at PVG, in São Paulo, Brazil, and leads its corporate and M&A practice. He obtained his Law degree from University of São Paulo and his LL.M. degree from University of Chicago Law School with a final grade equivalent to High Honors. Marcelo worked in the Latam M&A and finance group of Cravath, in New York, and acted as assistant GC in charge of Brazilian CSN’s cement and steelmaking businesses. Marcelo has been recognized as leading lawyer by Chambers Global and Latam, Legal 500 Latam, LACCA and IFLR1000. Marcelo is currently membership officer for South America of the Insolvency Section of the IBA, and Vice President of the Board of Officers of the non-profit Brazilian Jewish hospital Albert Einstein.
