Biography

Fabiana Balducci is a senior executive in corporate banking and finance with more than 26 years of experience. She is a partner of Makalu Partners. Previously, she worked for 13 years as Director of Banco de Investimentos Credit Suisse (Brasil) S.A., working in the negotiation and analysis of high yield / distress credits, restructurings, special situations and loan portfolio sale operations in the Brazilian market. Formerly, she worked for two years at Banco BNP Paribas S.A. and ten years at Bank of America, going through several areas including financial institutions, corporate finance and credit, where she led the fixed income analyst teams for corporates and financial institutions. She also worked for one year at Banco Itaú S.A. as an economic analyst. Fabiana holds a BA degree in Economics from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo and an MBA in Finance from INSPER. Additionally, she is a member of the board of directors of the Turn Around Management Association in Brazil (TMA Brasil), chair of TMA Education and Events Committee since 2014 and professor of several postgraduate courses at FIA - Instituto de Administração and INSPER.
