Biography

Dr Christoph Naumann is a Partner in the Corporate group of Watson Farley & Williams in Frankfurt. He specialises in M&A, Private Equity, Venture Capital, Joint Ventures, corporate law as well as general commercial matters (including commercial agreements). Specifically in the Venture Capital area, he is frequently dealing with technology companies being acquired by non-technology companies. Christoph has extensive experience advising clients on cross-border and domestic matters including sellers, acquirers and financial institutions. Many of these transactions involve financial sponsors. In 2010, he was seconded to J.P. Morgan’s Frankfurt office. Christoph started his career in 2007 with Clifford Chance, focusing on the same advisory services. He is admitted to practice law in Germany and in New York. Besides his hometown Frankfurt, he has worked in New York, London, Paris and Geneva.
