Biography

Carmen De la Cruz, Attorney-at-Law & Notary Public, is Founder and Partner at de la cruz beranek Attorneys at Law Ltd., a corporate law firm specialized in IT, information and communication law. She advices her clients in the fields of Technology Law such as Data Privacy, Block chain, Artificial Intelligence, Outsourcing and new technologies. Acting as an attorney in Zug, the heart of Crypto Valley, she is linked to the block chain community and has supported clients and partners with block chain related projects and ICO’s. She is member of the Crypto Valley Association. Furthermore, Carmen acts as Data Protection Officer for clients and is strongly involved in technology related topics in these fields. Carmen graduated at the University of Fribourg (CH), is admitted to the Bar, is Notary Public and holds a Federal degree in IT & Economics and a degree as IT Security Expert of the German Federal Office for Information Security. She has worked for many years as In-house Counsel in technology companies before entering into private practice. Carmen is member of ITechLaw Association as well as IBA. Carmen is lecturing at different Universities in Switzerland.
