Biography

Rolf Auf der Maur, Partner Head of TMT Practice Dr. iur., Attorney at Law Rolf Auf der Maur has 25 years of experience in the areas of IT, media and communications law. He was one of the first lawyers in Switzerland who focused on internet related legal matters. In recent years, he advised clients in various industries (including telecoms, media, energy, finance and health) on developing and implementing data driven business models. He also co-founded and invested in various ICT start-ups and accompanied some of them through to a successful exit. Entrepreneurs often seek his advice for strategic decisions and for managing M&A transactions. Rolf Auf der Maur is ranked as a first Tier TMT lawyer in legal directories Chambers, Legal 500, Who’s Who Legal, Media Law International and others.
