Jessica Wirth Strine
Biography
Jessica Wirth Strine is a senior manager on the Vanguard Investment Stewardship team. In her role, she leads executive and director engagement on topics including board composition, executive compensation, governance structures, and board oversight of risk & strategy. She and her team of sector analysts carry out voting and engagement across the consumer and health care sectors, advocating for governance practices that support long-term value creation. Ms. Strine joined Vanguard in 2018. Prior to joining Vanguard, Ms. Strine was a director of research and sector portfolio manager at BlackRock. Before this, Ms. Strine was an equity analyst and sector portfolio manager at Putnam Investments, after beginning her career in equity research at Wellington Management Company. Ms. Strine earned a B.A. in Psychological & Brain Sciences from Dartmouth College, and an MBA with a Finance concentration from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Ms. Strine lives in Swarthmore PA, and serves on the Board of Trustees of the Tyler Arboretum, and on the Greater Philadelphia committee for UNICEF.
