Biography

Richard is an independent pensions and retirement consultant specialising in strategy, policy and proposition design for providers, pension schemes and policymakers. His current focus is on developing new thinking on how retirees should structure investment and withdrawal strategies following the liberalisation of the UK retirement market in 2015. This has included chairing a working group for the UK Investment Association looking at the role of investment funds in retirement. Prior to setting up his own business Richard held a variety of senior positions at Fidelity International including Head of Retirement, leading the development of Fidelity’s services to advisers, individual investors and defined contribution retirement plans.
