Biography

Annika is a partner at German law firm Hengeler Mueller in Frankfurt. She advises on a broad range of M&A transactions and corporate law matters, including corporate reorganizations, with a particular focus on cross-border M&A transactions. Annika regularly works on both buy-side and sell-side (including auction proceedings) across various transaction structures like complex multi-jurisdictional M&A deals as well as carve-out and joint venture situations. Her clients include public and private corporates as well as private equity and sovereign wealth funds. Annika was admitted to the German bar in 2007 and the New York bar in 2009, following her LL.M. degree at Harvard. She also holds a master’s degree in East Asian Studies.
