Biography

Jason Klurfeld is the General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Evercore Inc. He joined Evercore in 2011 and is responsible for all legal and compliance matters. Prior to joining Evercore, Mr. Klurfeld was an M&A attorney at Sullivan & Cromwell in New York and Skadden Arps in Washington, D.C., focusing primarily on mergers, acquisitions, financings, strategic investments, and other matters. Prior to that, he served in government as an aide to New York Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan. Mr. Klurfeld holds a JD from the University of Pennsylvania, a Masters in History from Oxford University (St. Antony’s College) and a BA in Economics from Hamilton College.
