Michael Han

Biography

Michael Han has been recognised as one of the most experienced competition law practitioners in China. As the former head of the China competition practice of a leading international firm, Michael started to focus on antitrust law in 2003. He has over fifteen years’ experience in advising clients on all aspects of Chinese competition law, covering a broad range of industry sectors including chemicals, consumer products and retail, energy and natural resources, financial institutions, healthcare, infrastructure, transport and private equity. He was an official at MOFTEC (now MOFCOM) before switching to private practice. Michael has been consistently ranked as a Band 1 lawyer in Chinese competition/antitrust law by Chambers Asia from 2009 to present.
