Shweta Shroff Chopra

Biography

Shweta Shroff Chopra is a Partner in the competition practice of Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. She has been involved in several complex merger control cases in India. Her notable cases include Walmart/Flipkart, Vodafone/Idea and GE/Alstom. She has advised on leniency and contested cartel cases as well. Shweta is a Non-Governmental Advisor in the ICN and worked with the CCI on the Special Project on Cartel Enforcement, presented at the ICN Annual Conference 2018. Shweta was recognised in WWL: Thought Leaders - Competition Law for 2018 and 2019. She ranks as a “Market Leading Lawyer” in Asialaw Profiles 2019 and featured amongst the youngest women in Global Competition Review’s “Women in Antitrust 2016”.
