Jean Obst

Biography

Dr. Jean-Stephan Obst studied law in Saarbrücken (Germany), Warwick (UK) and Lille (France). In 1997, he became a freelance trainer in the field of communication, IT and law and founded GoTraining GbR together with a partner. Jean-Stephan Obst did his doctorate at Saarland University on the subject of 'Rights of minority shareholders in a listed stock corporation'. He joined Robert Bosch GmbH in 2003 as a Trainee. This was followed by positions in the company as legal counsel in the automotive and IT law sectors and in 2011 he took over the responsibility of the legal department of Bosch Thermotechnik GmbH and from 2015 he was also General Counsel Western Europe for Bosch. Currently he is Head of Legal for Mobility Solutions at Robert Bosch GmbH.
