Henrik Rossing Lonberg
Biography
Since 2001, Henrik has specialised in corporate finance and has provided advice in more than 135 M&A transactions. He has provided advisory services to listed and privately owned companies in Denmark and internationally, private equity funds, hedge funds, venture capital companies, public institutions, institutional investors and high net worth individuals. Over the past ten years (2008 - 2017), Henrik has been one of the most active (top 3) legal advisors in Denmark in the field of M&A in terms of number of transactions (source: mergermarket.com, measured by number of transactions). Henrik was in 2016 the lawyer in the Nordic region that had advised on most transactions (source: mergermarket.com). Through his LL.M. degree from Harvard Law School (2001), his licence to practise law in New York and his subsequent employment at the New York-based law firm White & Case for more than four years (2001-2005), Henrik has acquired in-depth knowledge of and extensive experience in cross-border transactions. Henrik has continued to nurture his vast experience and network since his return to Denmark, and a considerable part of his client portfolio is international. Henrik is chair of Plesner's Committee for International Relations. Since 2009, Henrik has been an Officer of the Harvard Law School Association of Europe (HLSAE). Henrik has been elected President of the Association, serving from 2013 to 2016. HLSAE has more than 2.000 members and is the largest Harvard Law School alumni association outside the US. Thanks to his extensive experience, Henrik is recommended in Chambers Global, Chambers Europe and Legal 500.
