Conference programme

The session will highlight the key legal aspects of acquiring start-ups and early-stage companies in India. Speakers will share their experience of working on Indian transactions, including any unique issues encountered, and will highlight some of the key things to consider in their respective jurisdictions. Items to be focused on include: legal issues and mitigation strategies relating to regulatory uncertainty of start-ups engaged in new business models; intellectual property aspects, impact of founders’ agreement; and data protection and privacy. The session will also touch upon real life examples.
