Description

Growing resistance to medicines is one of the hardest and most urgent challenges facing healthcare today. Antibiotics in particular have saved millions of lives, but over use, misdiagnosis and controversial farming practices have contributed to the evolution of 'superbugs' resistant to current treatments. We will look at regulatory and scientific options to address the problem and consider the hard decisions that will need to be made before it is too late.
