Description

The panel will focus on the specific franchise laws in the Asia Pacific region, which in recent years has seen a proliferation of such laws. The speakers will examine the similarities and differences between these laws in countries including, among others, China, South Korea, Australia and Malaysia. The panel will in particular focus on the enforcement of these franchise laws by examining the relevant case laws, regulatory decisions and pronouncements, and their ramifications for franchisors and franchisees operating under these laws.
