Description

After elections in the Netherlands, France and Germany, the UK’s intention to leave the European Union, the euro and migration crises, as well as signs of cultural clashes within the member states of the EU, one question remains: will Europe stay united? The traditional image of Europe’s wealth, values and cultural leadership are already challenged, while the economic impact of a disintegrating union would be unimaginable to the world. Prominent politicians, EU representatives and company leaders debate the future of Europe. Join us at the IBA Annual Conference in Sydney for another exciting discussion on the future of Europe with important opinion leaders. This is the third debate of the series on the future of Europe, after the first session about a federal EU (Vienna, 2015), and the second one on the impact of the Brexit referendum (Washington, DC, 2016).
