Description
Economists with experience of working at antitrust agencies around the world will discuss the key case law developments and broader challenges currently facing the agencies’ economist teams. Members of the panel will discuss some of this year’s most high-profile judgments (Intel, AT&T/Time Warner) and will debate the current state of economic analysis in light of the emergence of new theories of harm and areas of enforcement focus around the world. The panel will compare and contrast the role of the economists in addressing these challenges within the agency structure and current legal framework in their jurisdiction.
