Description
It is normal that a number of M&A transactions fail for various reasons. Over the past few years, however, we have seen an increasing number of failed deals throughout Latin America. Economic and political instability played an important role on this scenario, but a significant number of transactions have failed because of compliance-related issues. In this panel, we will discuss how compliance-related issues have been affecting the success or failure of M&A transactions and whether there are factors that may lead to an increasing risk of failure for such deals.
