The IBA Women Lawyers' Interest Group is proud to present a breakfast session where attendees will hear from a prominent speaker about how to succeed in the corporate world. Caroline Pontoppidan is one of the most respected lawyers in Denmark- and abroad. Again in 2019, Caroline was appointed amongst the top 10 most influential women in Denmark. With an unusual career path which includes modelling and 15 years as equity partner in a major Danish law firm, she is now part of the Maersk management team (a transport and logistics group which includes the world's largest container carrier). Caroline is functionally responsible not only for legal and compliance but also for corporate affairs and security which includes battling piracy and drug smuggling at 75 terminals and 700+ container ships all over the world.
