Description
Global businesses are increasingly sensitive to substantial liabilities and compliance obligations for their cross border travellers. This panel will identify the key considerations for corporate travellers in differentiating business travel and work and the corresponding tax liabilities which employees are subject to as well as corporate liabilities for unintended consequences, where permanent establishments may be created without appropriate planning. They will flag risks and strategies to address employment law liabilities in the country visited. Lastly tools which can assist in monitoring and planning cross border assignments will be discussed.
