Rule of Law Forum
Description
As LegalTech becomes increasingly sophisticated and ubiquitous, the need to clarify the corresponding effect on lawyer’s professional obligations will only become more critical. However, most codes of conduct, ethics board advisory opinions and law firm policies do not provide clear answers to novel questions being raised with regards to technological competency, confidentiality, fee arrangements, responsible outsourcing, conflicts of interest, and responsible practice of law. This session will tackle these questions while providing an opportunity to share developments and best practices from around the world.
