Interactive workshop - hot topics in the European automotive and mobility services industry

Description
The session will take the form of a workshop with moderators facilitating round table discussions on some of the legal hot topics in the mobility services industry, including current legislative development, data ownership, opportunities and challenges for autonomous vehicles and more.
- The Road to Autonomous Vehicles – discussing the regulatory framework for autonomous vehicles in Europe including recent legislative developments on the EU and national level.
- Opportunities and challenges with data from autonomous vehicles - contemplating questions about who is the owner and who has right to access the different sorts for data generated from the connected vehicle and whether the current regulatory framework is sufficient for what is coming. The session will further elaborate about future aspects we need to be aware of (the known unknowns) with regard to data from connected vehicles.
- Liability in situations concerning autonomous vehicles – discussing the upcoming liability shift, i.e., from driver/holder liability for human driving errors to the liability of OEMs/suppliers for AI/machine driving errors.
