Committee(s)

Litigation Committee (Lead)

Description

Let’s say a client, a lawyer or a law firm has been defamed on Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram by a government official. Or by a former customer or client. Or by a competitor. Should there be a reaction, or would that merely attract more attention to the matter? If there ought to be a reaction, what should the reaction be? What are the rights under these circumstances and how does one successfuly assert them? This timely and informative session will answer these and other questions relating to reputational disputes in the social media world.
