More seasoned M&A practitioners will remember that special purpose acquisition companies (SPACs) are not a new phenomenon, but rather returnees celebrating a splendid comeback. But what exactly is a SPAC? What is the history of SPACs and how are they regulated? What are their advantages and why did they gain so much popularity lately? Will they disappear again or are they here to stay? The panel will give answers to these and some further questions.
