7th Annual Corporate Governance Conference
1 Sep - 20 Sep 2022
Session information
Description
Studies show that companies with employees on boards were better able than other companies to navigate through a financial crisis. This topic is equally urgent and compelling when regarding the way that companies must deal with the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The session’s objective is to review the impact of different corporate governance models in relation to employee representation on boards, and identify the benefits hereof for corporate performance. The discussion will focus both on the German corporate governance model, which is often seen as the role model for employee representation in boards, and also the General Counsel’s perspective on the company experience with this representation.
