Description
Step into the streets where insurance was born. This walking tour through the City’s historic Insurance District explores centuries of risk-taking, from Roman beginnings and medieval merchants to fire, fraud, pirates, coffee houses and the darker sides of global trade.
Howard Benge is the Director of the Insurance Museum. His background is in heritage, in archives, archaeological sites, museums and historic houses. He is specialised in City of London history.
The walking tour has now reached capacity.
