About the Committee
The International Trade and Customs Law Committee is a forum for international practitioners, corporate counsel, academics and government officials to convene, exchange ideas and promote discussion of issues across the spectrum of international trade and customs law.
The International Trade and Customs Law Committee also works closely with bar associations and other organisations across the world to organise events and to ensure that the committee and its members are on the leading edge of international trade and customs issues.
Customs law conversations: practitioners talk to practitioners
The International Trade and Customs Law Committee are publishing a series of podcasts - Customs law conversations: practitioners talk to practitioners - in which customs practitioners discuss their recent cases or investigations, the type of issues they have faced and how they are being solved in investigations or in court, to showcase what it means to be a customs lawyer.

Despite not having amended the International Trade Law since 2006, or its regulations since 2014, Mexico has recently developed new practices in its trade remedy investigations. This article considers the International Trade Practices Unit of the Ministry of Economy and its determinations within antidumping investigations and/or orders, and those most relevant to discuss the consideration of China as a market economy and the use of foreign costs.
