Drivers of change in the legal profession and legal education

A webinar presented by the IBA Future of Legal Services Commission and the IBA European Regional Forum, supported by the IBA Academic and Professional Development Committee and the IBA Law Firm Management Committee.

During this webinar, the different speakers from the European Regional Forum and Future of Legal Services Commission (FOLS) will analyse the conclusion of the three reports published by FOLS and how this reflects in the European legal market. These reports are: ‘Drivers for change in legal services’; ‘Blueprint on Global Legal Education’; and a heatmap on the legal profession which identifies the key issues affecting the legal profession. The speakers will debate on topics such as globalisation of the legal pression and the use of technology in legal services; they will also comment on how well prepared the legal market is for current challenges, including issues concerning people or clients. This webinar will be of interest to managers of law firms, human health risk resource professionals and talented recruitment officers, as well as legal academics and lawyers. This is the final instalment in a series of webinars organised by IBA Future of Legal Services Commission featuring regional experts from each of the IBA regional fora. This instalment focuses on the European legal market.
