Jacqueline is a Law Society-certified immigration specialist, with over 29 years of experience in Canadian immigration law. She is the author, co-author and/or editor-in-chief of over 25 immigration law books, including the 3,000-plus-page quarterly updated Canada/US Relocation Manual: Immigration, Employment, Customs and Taxation (co-edited and co-authored with Austin Fragomen), in addition to over 175 other immigration law publications. Jacqueline has held numerous prestigious executive positions at national and international bar associations and has moderated, chaired or presented at over 100 law conferences worldwide. She has served as an expert witness on immigration matters arising in litigation. Adrian Ojeda graduated with honors from Escuela Libre de Derecho law school in Mexico City in 1999, and from Boston University School of Law’s LL.M program in American Law in 2002, obtaining the “Outstanding Achievement Student” award. He is the managing partner of Ojeda | Ojeda y Asociados, a Mexican law firm founded in 1968, highly specialized in immigration, corporate, and entertainment law, with offices in Mexico City and Villahermosa, Tabasco. Adrian Ojeda acted as President of the Mexican Corporate Counsel Association (ANADE) for years 2019-2020.

Michele Carney is an attorney in Seattle Washington, with a focus on preventative ethics and immigration removal defense. She is currently a member of the AILA national Law Journal, AILA Task Force – Future of Practicing Immigration Law and Ethics Committee (as well as past chair) and also was a past chair and member of the Innovation and Technology Committee. She is also on the ABA leadership Board/Committees of Ethics & Professionalism and Legal Technology Resource Center. Michele also is on the Legal Technology Task Force, Committee for Professional Ethics, Adjunct Disciplinary Counsel and Ad hoc member of the Well Being Task Force and has been a past member of the Practice of Law and Character & Fitness Boards for the Washington State Bar Association. Michele is also on the AILA Washington chapter Wellness Committee.

Blessing Oluwapamilerin Akabunwa (Pamilerin) is a Corporate Immigration Specialist, Partner, and Team Lead at Famsville Solicitors, a Pan-African law firm based in Lagos, Nigeria. At Famsville, Pamilerin leads the Corporate Immigration and Regulatory Compliance practice area. Together with her team, she routinely advises local companies and multinational organizations on corporate immigration requirements and compliance, as well as employee migration processes in Nigeria. She frequently liaises with regulatory bodies to ensure clients' compliance with updates to immigration policies. Pamilerin has authored and co-authored numerous articles on corporate immigration. Her thought leadership in corporate immigration has earned her recognition as a Mondaq Thought Leader in 2020 and 2021. She holds memberships in several professional associations, including the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), the NBA Section on Business Law (NBA-SBL), and the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). Pamilerin also serves as the Assistant Publicity Secretary of the Nigeria Immigration Lawyers Association (NILA) and is a Diversity and Inclusion Officer for the Immigration and Nationality Law Committee of the International Bar Association (IBA). Additionally, she is an associate member of the Nigerian Institute of Chartered Arbitrators (NICArb). Pamilerin’s expertise extends beyond Corporate Immigration, encompassing Corporate Transactions, Real Estate and Construction, and Labour and Employment law.
