A webinar presented by the IBA Anti-Corruption Committee and the IBA Pro Bono Committee, supported by the IBA Business Crime Committee
Corruption persists at high levels despite the ongoing efforts of public and private stakeholders and the introduction of new legal frameworks. In this context, pro bono initiatives can play a vital role in both preventing and combating corruption.
This webinar will bring together leading anti-corruption and pro-bono experts as well as representatives from civil society organisations that coordinate such work to discuss insights and practical examples in regards to the following:
• compliance as a strategic tool to strengthen pro bono work in the fight against corruption (transparency, integrity, education and whistleblower protection, among others);
• developments and trends involving legal professionals in pro bono anti-corruption legal practice;
• challenges faced and success stories provided by practitioners and organisations; and
• testimonials from the beneficiaries of pro bono services.
As we are limited to 1,000 registrants, we request that you please only register for this event if you will be attending.
