Launch of the IBA Raising the Bar: Women in Law global report

The International Bar Association’s landmark global report, Raising the Bar: Women in Law, presents the findings of a survey of 5,000 women lawyers across 100 jurisdictions and all legal sectors. The report provides a robust, global insight into the experiences of women in the legal profession and includes practical recommendations to support women’s progress and promote greater equality across the legal sector.

The programme will be opened by IBA President Claudio Visco, with remarks from former IBA President Almudena Arpon de Mendívil. The event will include a presentation of the findings and discussions with women from across the profession reflecting on the report recommendations and steps being taken by organisations to advance opportunity and fair representation of women at every level.
