Biography

Maya Mehta, UK Head & Global Co-ordinator, Sustainable Finance Legal Practice, BNP Paribas Maya is an international Sustainable Finance lawyer and a regular speaker on the topic. Having actively advocated for Responsible Business for 20 years, Maya now advises on Sustainable Finance transactions and delivers training globally, in her capacity as UK Head & Global Co-ordinator of the Sustainable Finance Legal Practice at BNP Paribas. Maya also leads discussions with industry bodies, shaping market practice and advising on new ESG legislation. For example, in her capacity as a Capital Markets lawyer, she has been a member of the International Capital Markets Association ESG Legal Committee since 2016.
