Biography

Farah O’Brien, Partner, Latham & Watkins Farah O’Brien is a partner in Latham & Watkins’ London office and Co-Chair of the firm's London Corporate Department. Ms. O’Brien has over 15 years’ experience in complex cross-border M&A, primarily for sponsors and their portfolio companies. Farah has previously been noted as a ‘Rising Star in Private Equity’, commended on her “depth of experience advising on some of the market’s most significant transactions.”, and in 2020, topped the mergerlinks table of deal values for both private equity and female lawyers in EMEA. In addition, Farah is Global Vice Chair of the firm’s Women Enriching Business Committee, which for over a decade has focused on addressing the business challenges and opportunities unique to women lawyers and current and prospective women clients. She also serves on the firm’s Diversity Leadership Committee.
