Barbara Wegelin
Biography
I specialize in Dutch and EU immigration and nationality law, as well as international family law in relation to children. I handle complicated family-based and humanitarian applications, revocations, discretionary applications and cases that require human rights and/or asylum-related expertise. Prior to joining Van der Woude de Graaf, I was a senior lawyer at Everaert Advocaten Immigration Lawyers, where I was in charge of the private client section. Prior to becoming a lawyer in 2007, I worked at the Australian Human Rights Commission and the United Nations Office for the High Commissioner for Human Rights in Geneva. I have also been engaged by the Dutch Refugee Council as a strategic adviser for EU asylum law.
