External examiner at the Universities of Cape Town and Kwa-Zulu Natal to LLM students. Ranked by Chambers Global, Who's Who Legal as a Thought Leader 2024, and is listed in the Hall of Fame by The Legal 500 EMEA 2024 guide. Pro bono lawyer for the National Sea Rescue Institute. Current South African Class A ORC national champion keelboat skipper.
