Biography

Peter de Ryck is a partner and heads the Corporate and M&A practice of Lydian. Peter was managing partner of Lydian from 2016 till 2019 and is currently its the chairman. Peter is a trusted adviser to industrial and strategic buyers, private equity and corporate finance houses, financial institutions and real estate investors. Peter specializes in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital, real estate and equity capital markets. He is notably active in the food and beverage, leisure, transport, services, insurance, energy and ICT sectors. He is consistently ranked as a Leading Individual for Corporate and M&A in Legal500 and is also ranked in Chambers Global and Europe. Peter is fluent in English and French and has previously lived in New York and London. Peter is a member of the Brussels bar.
