Biography

Martin is a senior underwriter in Liberty GTS' EMEA team underwriting warranty and indemnity insurance with a focus on Benelux M&A transactions. Martin obtained his LL.M. from the University of Utrecht, The Netherlands in 2012 and thereafter spent over four years at Dutch law firm De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek as an attorney focusing on M&A and regulatory matters. Before joining the Liberty GTS team in 2019, Martin worked for three years at Intertrust Group, a trust, corporate and fund management services provider, in various positions with an emphasis on M&A and deal structuring. During that time he was seconded for one year to The Blackstone Group, working on projects in the Asia Pacific. Martin has lived and worked in Europe, the Middle East and Asia and is native in Dutch and English.
