Maria Grazia Giammarinaro

Biography

Maria Grazia Giammarinaro is an Italian Judge. From 2014 to 2020 she was UN Special Rapporteur on trafficking in persons especially women and children. Previously she had been OSCE Special Representative for combatting trafficking in human beings. She initiated the drafting and negotiation of the Directive 2011/36/EU on trafficking, as National Second Expert to the European Commission.
