Biography

Helen Clarke is a Partner with Corrs Chambers Westgarth in Australia, specialising in technology and digital transformation, data privacy and cyber security, telecommunications, commercial intellectual property and technology licensing, and major procurement and outsourcing. Helen acts for major government and private sector clients across a number of industries including health, financial services, telecommunications, education and energy & resources. She has represented a number of clients in data privacy matters, including data breaches, privacy complaints and matters under investigation by the Australian Privacy Commissioner. Helen regularly assists Corrs’ pro-bono clients with technology procurement projects and data privacy advice. Helen is Partner in Charge of the firm's Brisbane office, a member of the firm's Diversity & Inclusion Council, and a member of Queensland University of Technology’s Law Advisory Group, the Queensland Law Society's Privacy and Data Law Committee, and the editorial panel of Lexis Nexis’ Privacy Law Bulletin.
