Biography

MARCO PIREDDA is a senior manager of Eni - the Italian global energy company - where he works in the public affairs and international relations. He earned a BA degree with honors in Political Science at the LUISS University of Rome and holds a PhD in Constitutional Law and a MA degree in Administrative Law from the University of Bologna. Marco worked for 6 years for the Italian Government, in the Department of Treasury. He joined Eni in 2008 to work first in the External Relations and Communication Department and then in the Legal and Regulatory Affairs Department, focusing on government relations and energy sector legislation. In 2021 he has been appointed Head of International Affairs Analysis & Business Support. Since 2019 he has been member of the Board of EDA Thess (gas distribution company) and represents Eni in other entities and advisory bodies.
